Academic Affairs Director
Mrs. Leak Malay is the Academic Affairs Director at Go Global School, where she oversees all academia in all three programmes such as Foreign Language Programme, Khmer Programme, and General Programme and Academic Office. Every academic decision and process have to go through her before it can be put into actions. Mrs. Malay has started her journey at Go Global School since 2015, when the school had only 40 students, but there were no Khmer student on campus yet, and now, there are 1200 students running around the campus for both Khmer and Foreign Language Programme.
Previous to Go Global School, she used to work at Save the Children International by overseeing Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education from 2013 to 2015, while at the same time, she partnered with a small group of Japanese people to help educate people about Secondary Education Library. From 2011-2013, she worked at Siem Reap Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sports as Primary Education staff. She also worked as Chief for General Knowledge at Siem Reap Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sports from 2007 to 2011. From 1998 to 2007, she taught at Porbanteychey Primary School, while with all these years, she also worked at KTC Private School and also worked as a Japanese Tour Guide on her free time.
Mrs. Malay is currently holding a Master Degree in Business Management from Build Bright University, Class of 2017 and a Bachelor Degree in the same field from the same Alma Mater, Class of 2012. In 2006 and 2008, she received Silver and Gold Medal for teaching and working at the Siem reap Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sports respectively. In 1999, she received and completed her Japanese Tour Guide Certificate, and she is also a certified and licensed Primary Teacher after two years training at Siem Reap Provincial Teacher Training College since 1998. She graduated with her High School Diploma in 1996 from 10 January 1979 High School.
Right now, Mrs. Malay is a mother of two sons after her marriage in 2003. She was born and raised in a household of 9, and she is the eldest of 7 siblings.
